Key Technical Data

The fish aggregation light cable, also known as the lure light cable, is an important connecting cable for auxiliary fishing equipment such as fish aggregation lights in offshore fishing and light-luring squid fishing operations. The following is its product introduction:

Product Structure:

Conductors: Usually bundled with multiple oxygen-free bare copper wires, meeting VDE 0295/CLASS 5 or 6 conductor standards. Some products also use reinforced fine tin-plated wire stranded with multiple strands.

Insulation layer: Generally used with mixed elastomer materials, it has excellent insulation properties and can effectively prevent leakage and other incidents.

Reinforcement components: Kevlar rope is commonly used, which can be designed as padded or mesh braided as needed to enhance the cable's tensile strength.

Sheath: Mostly uses imported waterproof polyether-polyurethane PUR mixtures, offering excellent waterproof, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant properties.

Product features:

Good flexibility: The cable is soft, with a bending radius of usually 7.5xD for mobile installation (D is the outer diameter of the cable), and 4xD for fixed installation. It can adapt to complex underwater environments and is not easily damaged during unfolding or turning.

Strong tensile load: With reinforcing components such as Kevlar, it meets certain tensile working environment requirements, with some products able to withstand tensile forces of 0-6T.

Waterproof and corrosion-resistant: It has excellent waterproof and hydrolysis resistance, allowing it to be immersed in seawater or freshwater environments for extended periods. At the same time, it is resistant to seawater corrosion, wear, and marks, as well as oil stain resistance, UV resistance, and mechanical fatigue resistance.

Stable electrical performance: The rated voltage is generally 300/500V or below, with test voltages up to 2000V, ensuring stable power transmission underwater and ensuring the fishing lights operate normally. The operating temperature range is typically -40°C to 90°C, meeting the needs of different aquatic environments.

Core count selection: Common options include 2-core, 3-core, and 5-core. The 2-core design is suitable for simple power supply needs, the 3-core cable provides more signal connections, and the 5-core cable is better suited for complex underwater monitoring and control systems.

Application scenarios: Mainly used in light-attracting squid fishing operations in distant-water fishing, attracting fish with fishing lights to increase catches. Additionally, it can be used for power supply for underwater photography lighting, power transmission for deep-water detection equipment, and various underwater monitoring devices to ensure stable operation and smooth data transmission
